Adriana Giovanini  é natural de Goiania, Brasil, onde também recebeu o diploma de Bacharel em Letras, Português-Inglês. No Brasil, Adriana trabalhou como professora de inglês e para o Departamento de Comunicação do Sebrae, onde atuou também como intérprete para investidores americanos. Adriana veio para os Estados Unidos em 2000. Logo começou a trabalhar para o Distrito Escolar do Condado de Palm Beach como tradutora/intérprete. Atualmente Adriana concilia este trabalho lecionando Português para adultos e é membro do Conselho Consultivo da AOTP–American Organization of Teachers of Portuguese.

 

Adriana Giovanini was born in Goiania, Brazil, where she also received her Bachelors degree in Education, Portuguese and English. In Brazil, Adriana worked as an English teacher and also at Sebrae in the area of Communications. There, she was also an interpreter for American investors. Adriana came to the U.S. in 2000. Shortly after, she started working for the School District of Palm Beach County as an interpreter/translator. Adriana currently holds that same position, in addition to her work of teaching Portuguese to adults, and being an active member of the AOTP (American Organization of Teachers of Portuguese) Board.
